The Accountant Project
Launching in December 2024 for the first 4 cohorts
We are a small but dedicated community of professionals who warmly invite you to become a part of our projects that change the lives of scholarship recipients who get trained in skills and then themselves change the lives of others for the better.

Our journey began in 2012, with a vision to create a safe learning environment to where it's okay to say "I don't know, but I'm willing to learn". We believe that everyone deserves to build a good life on their own, and we are very passionate about our mission to create a place where individuals could find a home of continuous learning and skills.
In 2019 our CEO realized that her biggest struggle (in her accounting firm) was delegating accounting. She started out as a bookkeeper in 2005 while going to school for accounting, and for her it was an instant connection of theory and practice.
She built a great accounting business and later added tax and tax planning to it; yet practicing excellence in accounting - i.e. the basics - was always the core of her business.
After a few unsuccessful hires (when the resume looked amazing but the skills and excellence just weren't there) she decided to create a training that teaches accountants just like she was taught. And this training is now the linchpin of our programs.
In 2024, we finally found a way for our organization to make a real difference for our initial target groups: we decided to ask for your help.
In 2025 we look to expand our education beyond accounting. We want to open training in tax preparation, entrepreneurship boot-camp and are exploring other skills to be added to our library in collaboration with other professionals (like vocational skills and more).
We teach skills because we believe that skills are what builds a life. It's teaching people to fish. And we think that in the area of financial skills, accounting, tax and entrepreneurship are the top skills to earn a living no matter what life throws at you.
Accounting is a skill that can be acquired fairly quickly unlike other skilled careers (doctors, lawyers, engineers). This skill that can be used to earn a good living while staying flexible.

Teens are our future and they have a chance to learn a skill they can use in multiple ways no matter what curveballs life throws at them. Having a skill they can use in building their own business, at work or to supplement income if they're still looking for their next move is powerful!

This program will focus on providing a "from zero" education to become a foundational accountant who can tackle any project because they are trained in accounting fundamentals.
