A big part of what we do is education. And yet there is so much more that we can do in partnership with you.

• Moms are phenomenal time managers, and they get sh-t done! Because many moms choose to raise their own kids, they typically pay the price by letting go of their own dreams and aspirations. And while they may not want to or be able to work for you full time, this work (bookkeeping) can be done remotely, can be done without a specific schedule (like 9 to 5) and doesn't really have super tight deadlines. If you open your mind to this, you can build an army of part time but devoted and loyal workforce who will work hard for you. Same goes for abuse survivors, they need a dignified way to make a good living.
• Motivated teens are POWER! Can you give them 5-10 hours a week to get their feet wet and get experience? The payoff can be massive if you do it right.
• 1st gen immigrants are hard workers, they're motivated to build their life back up and support their families no matter what. And bookkeeping is a dignified way to do this. You get a loyal worker who will make things happen. What more can one wish for?
• As you know, tax preparation, especially business tax returns, is not simply putting numbers into the program, it's performing year-end close and other due diligence, a big part of which requires bookkeeping knowledge (basic accounting fundamentals). So when we launch our TaxPrep Project in 2025, we will have students learn this new skill on the basis of bookkeeping. We will get the next generation of workforce ready for you!
